Los Angeles, California / September 2024 — Dr. Michael Everest’s edYOU Technologies is transforming learning and wellness as more businesses and organizations embrace this innovative platform. Dr. Everest and his team developed the program, which integrates an artificial intelligence neural network delivered through human-like conversational beings.

These AI companions offer personalized learning and wellness programs for users of all ages. edYOU has already been implemented in prestigious institutions such as Sierra Canyon School, California Northstate University College of Medicine, and HCA teaching hospitals. The platform is now available to the public.

Dr. Michael Everest, a board-certified surgeon & doctorate holder in Education, has been steadily gaining users and publishing research demonstrating the platform’s ability to improve learning and wellness outcomes. edYOU has seen significant growth in schools, higher education, and universities. Building on this success, edYOU will expand its reach this fall by offering its courses to individuals eager to enhance their learning experiences. With flexible subscription options, learners of all ages can now benefit from the safe and user-friendly AI companions who power edYOU.

“Our goal has always been to build something that helps humanity,” Dr. Michael Everest says. “We realized that edYOU should be accessible to learners of all ages by offering something society needs—a platform that combines learning and wellness. By encouraging users to reflect on their feelings while learning, we help them achieve better educational outcomes by improving their emotional well-being.”

As the founder and CEO of edYOU, Dr. Everest has overseen the platform’s application across K-12 education and medical school training. He has formed strategic partnerships, including an ongoing collaboration with Sierra Canyon School to enhance life skills and educational outcomes for students. Dr. Michael Everest has also partnered with the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology and Oak Hill Hospital to offer edYOU as a continuing education resource for members and medical residents.

During the pre-launch, the three tiers are:

The Silver Tier includes 1-day access, the learning module, the testing module, and a wellness companion.

The Gold Tier builds on the Silver Tier by offering everything the Silver Tier offers, plus full-week access, conversation history, and gamification.

The Premium Tier offers a comprehensive access to edYOU’s features, designed for users who want a fully immersive learning experience. This option provides everything the Silver Tier offers, plus an entire month of access and certificates of completion.

Dr. Michael Everest describes edYOU’s AI beings as “the safe face of AI,” emphasizing their design to work with learners of all ages and abilities using carefully curated content and sophisticated algorithms.

“Ensuring a secure and closed system is our top priority, which is why we’ve developed the patented Personal Ingestion Engine (PIE) and Intelligent Curation Engine (ICE). By using information without relying on large language models, we maintain transparency and promote responsible AI use. Our Personal Learning and Wellness Companions (PLC, PWC) are lifelong partners for learners. The platform operates within strict boundaries, preventing access to inappropriate or harmful content. Much like Siri responds to certain queries within defined parameters, our system adheres to ethical guidelines to ensure user safety.”

Dr. Everest is deeply involved in developing edYOU’s AI platform and AI Beings. He understands the challenges of creating safe and effective systems, drawing on lessons from other attempts to integrate AI into education.

“Comprehensive vetting and testing before full-scale implementation can identify potential issues early,” Dr. Everest says. “Pilot programs and phased rollouts allow for gradual integration, refining the technology to ensure its readiness for broader use. At edYOU, we’ve always followed this approach.”

edYOU’s patented technology has undergone rigorous testing in various educational and business environments. This extensive preparation is why Dr. Michael Everest believes the time is right to offer edYOU to individuals and families worldwide. With three subscription tiers available, the platform can be customized for individualized study programs and for students needing extra support.

“We back up our claims with research, which sets us apart,” Dr. Everest explains. “We’re not just relying on sentiment analysis—we’re connecting with users to provide scientifically proven, personalized, and effective assistance.”

In addition to founding edYOU Technologies, Dr. Everest is also the founder of Residents Medical, an organization that helps medical school graduates secure competitive residencies and internships. His work in medical education gives him a unique perspective on the safe use of AI in sensitive environments.

“AI must be handled responsibly, particularly in education,” Dr. Everest notes. “Minimizing AI ‘hallucinations’ and keeping the technology secure is critical. We’re creating bonds. Many of us remember the third-grade teacher or college professor who had a lasting impact. edYOU aims to be that lifelong learning companion. As someone involved in training medical doctors, I understand the importance of proper training, especially when lives are at stake.”
