Expanded Amsterdam data center and six-language rollout address growing demand for EU data residency and localized credential management

Passpack, a leader in cloud-based password management and end-to-end encrypted credential sharing, today announced a significant expansion of its European offering. The company has scaled its Amsterdam data center to ensure EU-based data residency for all European customers, and will introduce support for six languages across its app and website by May 2026.

The expansion is designed to give European IT teams and businesses full confidence that their credential data stays within EU borders, stored, encrypted, and governed entirely under European jurisdiction.

For organizations operating under GDPR, data residency is not optional. Passpack’s European infrastructure, accessible via passpack.eu, stores all customer credentials within the EU with no cross-border transfer. The platform’s Zero Knowledge architecture ensures that only users can access their stored data. Passpack itself has no visibility into customer information, a design choice that aligns with GDPR’s core principles by default rather than by policy.

The Amsterdam expansion reinforces that commitment at the infrastructure level, giving compliance, legal, and IT teams a concrete answer when regulators or auditors ask where data lives.

The forthcoming language support extends that commitment to the product experience itself. By May 2026, Passpack will roll out support for Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Dutch across its app and website. For MSPs and IT administrators managing distributed workforces across Europe, a localized interface reduces onboarding friction and supports consistent security practice across organizations.

“European businesses have always been part of our customer base, but this expansion is about becoming the obvious choice for them,” said Chris Skipworth, CEO of Passpack. “In-region storage, Zero Knowledge architecture, and a product that speaks your language, that is what enterprise-grade credential security looks like for the EU market.”

European organizations are increasingly holding their software vendors to the same data protection standards they are required to meet themselves. That means knowing where data lives, who can access it, and whether the product was built with their regulatory environment in mind. Passpack’s European expansion addresses all three.
