Global efforts to combat climate change are now hindered by understandable human biases that cloud judgment on climate solution decisions – corporate vested interests, career vested interests, public passions, and political agendas.

Many are concerned that humanity might fail to resolve global warming. If humanity fails, these biases will be the root cause of that failure. GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc. proposes to use the Wicked-Problem Approach (WPA) to mitigate these biases. WPA is a proven mechanism that will allow global integrated-systems analyses in the work proposed by GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc, Global Solutions and Outreach Programs.

“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level

of thinking we were at when we created them.”

                                                                          – Albert Einstein

Understanding the Biases: A Barrier to Progress

Corporate vested interests, career vested interests, public passions, and political agendas have often overshadowed the urgency of addressing global warming. These biases are an understandable aspect of our current-day business-as-usual paradigm. Unfortunately, they are detrimental to determining the best national, regional, and global action plans to resolve global warming. By structuring Global Solutions and Outreach Programs using the Wicked-Problem Approach, these biases will be mitigated, giving humanity its best chance to resolve global warming.

The Wicked-Problem Approach: A Holistic Solution

Global warming is a wicked problem characterized by its complexity, interconnectedness, and diverse perspectives on solutions. The Wicked-Problem Approach involves diverse stakeholders, enabling a more inclusive and holistic approach to global solutions.

GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc. recommends integrated-systems analyses that consider the technical, social, economic, and environmental impacts of proposed solutions to safeguard the health of all national economies while solving our planetary problem. If national economies collapse, we will not resolve global warming.

Global Solutions and Outreach Programs: A Collaborative Effort

GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc. recognizes the importance of collaboration in resolving global warming and adapting to the potentially catastrophic effects of climate change. By fostering partnerships with governments, organizations, and individuals, GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc. aims to create a unified front engaged in doing the integrated-systems analyses that must be done.

By promoting transparency and accountability, the GSOP analyses will ensure climate solution decisions are based on objective analyses from a global collaborative effort rather than personal or organizational biases.

This work has never been done. It has never even been proposed until now. The GSOP work will result in effective national, regional, and global action plans that will be our best chance to resolve global warming.

Conclusion: A Call for Action

In conclusion, GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc. stands at the forefront of addressing the global challenge of climate change. When GSOP is fully funded, three years will be required to complete the work, requiring thousands of young professionals and subject-matter experts of all ages from all over the world.

GSOP Climate Collaboration Inc. seeks to create a sustainable future for future generations.
