A Life Shaped by Destiny

Raymond has always believed that life presents us with many paths—some chosen, some accidental, and others seemingly predestined. His journey, which began humbly, has now reached extraordinary heights. With years of experience, he has shared his work through writing, mentorship, and community involvement.

Back in the 1960s, aptitude tests for high school students suggested that Raymond was suited for a career serving others. He says this early indication proved prophetic. In 1982, he purchased a small home and office cleaning service from a friend, never intending for it to become a lifelong pursuit. Yet, over 34 years, he grew the business into a thriving endeavor, forging deep, meaningful relationships with hundreds of customers—many of whom became lifelong friends. More significantly, he met and married his wife, an employee of the company, a union he calls “destined.”

2016, after selling the business, Raymond focused on his true calling—writing and community outreach.

A Voice in Mainstream Media

Raymond’s impact on the media landscape has been remarkable. He has long been a prominent author and blogger, addressing morality, self-improvement, and personal transformation themes. His recent appearance on Hollywood Live, hosted by Jack Canfield—renowned author of Chicken Soup for the Soul—is a testament to his influence and reach. With an Emmy award-winning production team behind the show, his message was broadcast to an even wider audience.

His contributions to media and communications were further recognized in 2019 when he received the prestigious Expy Award, a recognition that solidified his status as a thought leader in his field.

Championing Change Through Outreach and Advocacy

Raymond serves as the National Education Coordinator for the Outreach Reentry Ministry. In this role, he provides critical support and education to individuals reintegrating into society, offering them guidance, resources, and the hope of a fresh start. His work in outreach has also helped him connect with key individuals and gain the insights needed to author his latest self-help and moral treatise series.

The first book in this series, What Bad We Do, is now available, setting the foundation for meaningful discussions on personal choices, redemption, and transformation. Through his writing, Raymond seeks to instill gratitude and a deeper understanding of life’s purpose, a mission he believes is divinely guided.

Founder of Our Soul’s Direction

Raymond’s commitment to helping others led to the creation Our Soul’s Direction, a platform that provides support, guidance, and a haven for those seeking personal growth. This initiative is built on the belief that everyone deserves a chance at transformation and that individuals may move from the “wrong side” to the “good side” of life in the right direction. Our Soul’s Direction aims to foster a community where people can share their struggles, find solace, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

A Strong Advocate Against Human Trafficking

In November 2024, Raymond accepted an invitation to join the advisory council of You Are My Light, an organization dedicated to combating human trafficking. As a council member, he is deeply involved in raising awareness, educating the public, and advocating for policy changes to help eradicate this grave injustice.

He encourages everyone to join the fight against human trafficking by educating themselves, supporting anti-trafficking organizations, volunteering, and advocating for ethical practices. Raymond firmly believes that collective action can lead to significant change and that every voice matters in this crucial battle.
